Lolland-Falster tiltrækker virksomheder fra hele verden: Vil skabe vækstmekka for fødevarebranchen

Den lokale erhvervsorganisation Business Lolland-Falster vil gøre Femern Bælt-regionen til rugekasse for nye globale fødevarevirksomheder. Nu er den Hong Kong-baserede investeringsfond JBI, der har speciale i fødevaresektoren, hoppet med på idéen.

Nordic Sugars to fabrikker ligger på Lolland-Falster og selskabet har tidligere været inde over acceleratorprogrammet Growth Train som Business Lolland-Falster er bag.

Gennem de sidste to år har erhvervsorganisationen Business Lolland-Falster tiltrukket virksomheder fra Sydkorea til USA og Mexico samt det meste af Europa til Femern Bælt-regionen for at accelerere selskabernes forretning og skabe partnerskaber med den lokale fødevareproduktion.

Organisationen, der har 420 medlemsvirksomheder, har nu teamet op med en stærk, international partner for at få Lolland-Falster til at blive et nyt globalt fødevaremekka for virksomheder.
