Danske Bank skyder millioner i startupfond

Med en tocifret millioninvestering håber Danske Bank at få en dybere forståelse for venturefondes arbejde.

Danske Bank har sendt et tocifret millionbeløb ind i startupfonden Byfounders og vil samtidig fungere som strategisk partner for fonden, skriver Børsen.

"Det er ret naturligt, at vi gør det, for der er en række elementer, hvor det her partnerskab er sindssygt vigtigt for os i Danske Bank. Det ene er, at vi vil være med til at styrke den nordiske startup-scene, men vi vil også gerne opnå en dybere forståelse for, hvordan venturefonde arbejder. Det er en helt ny strategisk dimension for os," siger Frederik Vinten, head of Group Development i Danske Bank, til Børsen.
