Kapitalfonde håber at styre designfirmaer uden om ny lavkonjunktur

Kapitalfonde har købt danske designvirksomheder som Gubi og Menu op i forventning om gode resultater. De er mere resistente over for recession end andre virksomheder, men deres forsyningskæder kan vise sig sårbare over for protektionisme og handelskrige.

Danske kapitalfonde har i de senere år investeret kraftigt i designvirksomheder inden for møbler og boligtilbehør. Hidtil har erfaringerne været gode, og flere af dem er solgt med stor fortjeneste. Men spørgsmålet er, om vækstscenarierne holder, nu hvor opsvinget toner ud.

Samtidig er virksomhederne med deres fintmaskede internationale forsyningskæder meget sårbare over for voksende protektionisme og mulige handelskrige.
