Vækstfonden måske på vej til at overtage al statslig kapitaltilførsel til start-ups

De fire små statslige ventureselskaber ved universiteterne – de såkaldte innovationsmiljøer – slagtes i ny rapport, som danner basis for regeringens krav om forenkling af erhvervsfremmesystemet.  Innovationsmiljøerne tilbageviser den voksende kritik, der bl.a. går på, at kun en tredjedel af de nye vækstvirksomheder kommer fra universitetsmiljøet.

De fire små statslige ventureselskaber i universitetsbyerne – de såkaldte innovationsmiljøer -risikerer at blive udfaset eller overtaget af Vækstfonden, der således bliver den eneste statslige aktør i den fødekæde, der forsyner danske ventureselskaber med nye lovende investeringsmuligheder. De fire innovationsmiljøer har pt. en portefølje på 312 opstarts-virksomheder.

Det såkaldte forenklingsudvalg, der er nedsat af Erhvervsminister Brian Mikkelsen for at forenkle erhvervsfremmesystemet, anbefaler, at al statslig formidling af ”hård kapital” overgår til Vækstfonden.
