Kapitalfonde kan få gavn af investeringer fra ny stor feriefond

Lønmodtagernes Dyrtidsfond, der egentlig var en afviklingskasse, skal nu forvalte op til 85 mia kr. i en ny feriefond. LD er i gang med at udforme en investeringsstrategi, hvor kapitalfonde formentlig vil indgå.

Lønmodtagernes Dyrtidsfond, som stammer tilbage fra slutningen af 70'erne, hvor fonden fik til opgave at forvalte indefrosne dyrtidsportioner, opfattes i dag af mange som en fond under afvikling. Men takket være en ny ferielov, der træder i kraft 1. september 2020, får LD-organisationen nu et nyt liv.

LD skal administrere en ny fond: Lønmodtagernes Fond for Tilgodehavende Feriemidler, som får en balance på op til 85 mia. kr. Det er midler, som indbetales af arbejdsgiverne. Pengene skal forrentes over en periode på mere end 50 år.  De administrative opgaver for fonden skal LD løse med bistand fra ATP.
