Private markets trio with 50 years of combined experience takes on lifelong dream

Three seasoned private equity professionals that recently left Nordea Asset Management have established a new firm – Jera Capital. The company, which has almost raised funds for a EUR 30-40m runway, will offer flexible investment structures on the secondary market, CEO Christen Estrup tells AMWatch.

In October 2021, experienced equity specialists Christen Estrup, Julien Marencic and Alexander Reventlow announced that they had handed in their resignations at Nordea Asset Management (NAM), but have since been tight-lipped about their future plans.

With 50 years of experience of investing and navigating in private market transactions, they have now teamed up again and launched Jera Capital, an investment firm focusing on the private equity secondary market and based in the center of Copenhagen.
