Finnish mutual pension insurer Varma has made personnel changes in its investment operations and appointed Markus Aho as its new head of private investments. An internal appointment, Aho comes directly from a role as head of private equity.
He replaces Mikko Koivusalo, who has served as the head of private investments for 25 years. The reshuffle is a "generational change," according to Varma.
