Robur updates responsible investment policy, folds gambling stocks

The fund manager has revised its investment policy and strengthened its criteria again, but still owns shares in certain gambling firms during a transitionary period.

Swedish fund manager Swedbank Robur has revised and updated its policy for responsible investments. As of January 1, investments in the gambling sector are excluded, the manager says in a statement.

"The continuous reviewing of our guidelines is an important part of our work. By sharpening and clarifying our policies and strategies step by step, we can also give our customers a greater understanding of how we work and what we as asset managers stand for," says Pia Gisgård, Head of Sustainability and Governance at Swedbank Robur.
