Danica CEO calls for green return tax credit

Green investment products offered by pension companies can potentially generate lower returns than traditional products, leading Ole Krogh Petersen, CEO of Danica Pension, to call for a tax credit.

In a column for Danish financial daily Børsen, CEO of Danica Pension Ole Krogh Petersen writes that political measures could encourage Danish pension savers to move their money from traditional products into green ones.

He explains that green products have a smaller investment universe, and therefore potentially generate lower returns than the traditional investment products, but that he believes politicians can help.
