PFA loses out on debt investment in airline company

Denmark's largest pension company has lost DKK 3bn (EUR 400m) on a loan to Nordic Aviation Capital.

PFA, Denmark's largest pension company, has lost DKK 3bn (EUR 403m) on an investment in Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) which it made back in 2018 in the form of a loan.

NAC, which is the world's largest regional aircraft leasing company, reports that it has filed for bankruptcy in the US. In connection with this, it has agreed with 73 percent of its shareholders that the company will be restructured, and taken over by its largest creditors.
