Oil fund joins nature-related disclosure taskforce

A representative from Norges Bank Investment Management is joining 33 other executives and senior specialists to help protect diversity through the creation of an investor framework.

Norway's EUR 1.3trn sovereign wealth fund, commonly known as the oil fund and officially managed by Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM), is joining the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD).

This comes after the fund released new company expectations detailing how they should take biodiversity and sustainable ecosystems into account in their activities.
