Aktia's former star manager reveals he also jumped ship to LGT Capital

Siekkinen worked at Aktia for nearly 15 years and managed the company's Emerging Market Local Currency Frontier Bond fund since 2015.

Jetro Siekkinen, formerly the deputy managing director and head of portfolio management at Aktia Asset Management, announces that he, too, has joined LGT Capital's emerging markets debt team in Switzerland.

Siekkinen announced his resignation from the Finnish asset manager in February around the same time as another fund manager and three analysts from its emerging market debt team announced their departures, and just days before the firm broke the news it would acquire Taaleri's fund management business. Three of the team joined LGT earlier this year.
