Nordea AM promotes internal candidates to lead two Stars funds as manager leaves

Nordea Asset Management is promoting two portfolio managers and an analyst to lead two of its flagship funds, as the lead portfolio manager Juliana Hansveden is leaving. One of the new co-lead managers was previously highlighted by the manager as one of its rising stars.

The largest asset manager in the Nordics, Nordea Asset Management (NAM) is making internal changes to its Emerging Stars Equity and Asian Stars Equity funds. The reason is that the funds' lead portfolio manager Juliana Hansveden is leaving NAM to pursue opportunities outside the firm.

As a result, NAM is promoting portfolio manager Pierre-Henri Cloarec to lead its emerging stars equity strategy and Nordea veteran Jakob Zierau to lead the Asian stars equity strategy. Zierau is joined by Indian and Indonesian equity analyst Aatman Ajmera, who is being promoted to a co-portfolio manager role.
