KLP invests over EUR 22m in global climate fund

The Norwegian pension investor is backing the Climate Investor Two fund, having previously invested EUR 40.5m (NOK 400m) in Climate Investor One.

Pension fund KLP is increasing its sustainable investments with a USD 25m (EUR 22m) injection into the Climate Investor Two fund, offered by Climate Fund Managers, which is based in the Netherlands.

The fund will focus on projects within renewable energy, as well as sustainable water sourcing, sanitation and circular economies in Asia, Africa and Latin America.
