Family office wants to add another ten clients by year-end

A Norwegian shipping dynasty's investment unit recently opened its fund to external investors. CEO Vegard Søraunet tells AMWatch it was always the goal to bring in investors that share the firm's philosophy and long-term goals.

Norwegian family office and investment company made a large investment in Swedish Ski holiday company company SkiStar last week, becoming a major shareholder with an almost 20 percent holding. This was Aeternum’s largest deal since inception its in January 2021, CEO Vegard Søraunet tells AMWatch.

With the addition of Skistar, Aeternum now has a portfolio of 18 companies, both public and private. The geographical overweight so far is in Sweden, according to Søraunet, who this week was nominated to SkiStar's board of Directors.
