Danske Bank Asset Management wants to invest more sustainably

A lot needs to change for Danske Bank to meet its goal of halving carbon emissions at its asset management arm by 2030.

Danske Bank Asset Management wants to reduce the carbon emissions associated with its assets under management by at least 50 percent by 2030. Over the next four years, the manager will be in dialog with the 100 biggest polluters in its portfolios.

Thomas Otbo, CIO at Danske Bank, says that this is a big step for the asset management division, which wants to contribute to the goal of net zero emissions by 2050.
