Nordea loses chief investment manager to wealth manager

The biggest Nordic bank has lost a long-serving strategist and part of its tactical asset allocation team. He is teaming up with a Stockholm-based wealth manager.

Swedish wealth manager and financial advisor Burenstam & Partners has hired Michael Livjin for a role as chef strategist for its Stockholm office.

Livjin joins the firm from Nordea, where he has been chief investment manager since early 2020 Between 2004 and 2020, he served in various investment strategist roles and was part of Nordea's tactical asset allocation team, which is responsible for Nordea's quarterly asset allocation publications aimed at private banking clients.
