New CIO at DNB Liv: "The day Lehman Brothers went bust was the day I became a fund manager"

The new chief investment officer of DNB Liv Anette Hjertø is looking forward to working during an exciting and demanding time for financial markets.

Investments have long been a part of Anette Hjertø's daily life. It all started when she was at business school in Bergen, studying to become a civil economist. Since then, she has worked at KLP and DNB. One day stands out from all the rest, however.

"I will never forget the Monday when Lehman Brothers was declared bankrupt. We had to make some tough choices. There was a shocked atmosphere, as we had all thought that a solution would be found or there would be a bailout. It was a shock," she tells AMWatch's Norwegian sister media FinansWatch.
