Finland's Church Pension Fund and the pension fund for employees of state broadcasting company YLE have invested in an impact vehicle offered by BlueOrchard Finance, a subsidiary of asset manager Schroders.
BlueOrchard Sustainable Assets Fund (BOSAF), which has now had its first closing, will finance green infrastructure projects in emerging and frontier markets, focusing on projects in renewable energy, energy efficiency, and clean transportation.
