Handelsbanken's Q3 inflows beat previous quarter without reaching Q1 highs

The Swedish bank's total assets under management had almost reached SEK 1trn (EUR 100bn) when the third quarter concluded. Year-on-year increase in mutual funds AUM almost totals SEK 200bn (EUR 20bn), according to the latest report.

Swedish bank Handelsbanken rather unusually decided to publish its third quarter report on Tuesday evening, ahead of its previously scheduled Wednesday morning slot. When the report was published, the bank announced that it was leaving the Danish and Finnish markets.

Sweden, Norway and the UK are considered more important markets with better growth and profitability potential.
