Global investment consultancy appoints CEO for Nordic region

One of the world's biggest financial services firms is hiring a new chief executive officer for the Nordic region.

Financial services firm and insurance broker Aon is appointing Johan Forsgård as chief executive officer for the firm in the Nordic region, according to a statement.

Forsgård has spent 16 years with one of the firm's competitors, Willis Towers Watson. Aon had planned a USD 30bn takeover of this company, but this was blocked by US officials earlier this year on the grounds that it would have created the world's biggest insurance brokerage, hurting competition.
