Relationship manager in new role: "There are no dead ends, and you can always learn from experience"

Career Path: Three months ago, Senait Asgede joined Neuberger Berman for a role as client relationship manager at the asset manager's Stockholm office. She reflects on her career which includes tenures with asset management sales as firms such as Handelsbanken AM, Aviva Investors, Credit Suisse AM and Schroders.

Which career path did you imagine for yourself when you were younger?

"It depends on how far we go back. When I was very young at the age of 10 or so, I was dreaming of being a pilot. My uncle was a pilot, and I think that inspired me. Today, of course, that is not where I am. Things change, but that was my dream as a kid."
