Fondsfinans Kapitalforvaltning hires ESG director from domestic competitor

The Norwegian wealth manager has appointed Melanie Brooks as head of ESG and co-manager of a fund which implemented a new strategy earlier this year.

Norwegian wealth manager Fondsfinans Kapitalforvaltning has hired Melanie Brooks as Head of ESG and Portfolio Manager, meaning she will be responsible for co-managing the company's equity fund Fondsfinans Renewable Energy.

The renewable energy fund is a result of a fund rebranding and new strategy implementation which took place in February 2021, and the fund is down by 14 percent since the new strategy was implemented.
