M&G launches new fund with seed capital from Sweden and UK

The new private credit institutional vehicle has an emphasis on ESG. A major Swedish pension fund and UK insurer have have invested EUR 201m.

Asset manager M&G has launched a senior secured loan fund with an ESG focus through its private assets division.

The fund is an institutional vehicle and has already been seeded by insurance company Prudential UK and Swedish government employee pension fund Kåpan, with the former investing EUR 175m, and the latter EUR 26m.
