Gatekeeper of EUR 188bn fund selection unit leaves Swedish Pensions Agency

The hunt for a replacement for Christian Lundström Tjurhufvud, who has been called one of the most influential fund selectors in the Nordics, will start later this fall.

The person responsible for fund selection and fund rejection at the Swedish Pensions Agency's Premium Pension platform Fondtorget has left his position.

Christian Lundström Tjurhufvud has been the head of fund selection and compliance unit at the SPA since May 2018, a team that consists of ten fund and quantitative analysts. He last day was on October 1 and he is now in the process of moving to Västerbotten county in the north of Sweden, where he will begin his new role as chief investment officer at the municipality.
