Pension companies make cautious investments in social fund

A number of investors, including Danish pension fund PKA, are showing interest in a fund launched by Den Sociale Kapitalfond.

Investors including PKA, Vækstfonden, Lind Invest and Arbejdernes Landsbank have taken a small step for institutional investors and a giant leap for a fund called Effekt, which was recently launched by Den Sociale Kapitalfond.

Danish financial daily Børsen reports that the goal of the Effekt fund is to work alongside municipalities to invest in concrete projects undertaken by private firms, paid for by the council.
