Private investors using online fund broker Nordnet in Norway executed trades worth NOK 26.4bn (EUR 2.6bn) in September, with net sales of NOK 721m (EUR 72m), Nordnet reports in a press release.
"September has once again proved to be a tricky month for global equity markets. Historic data from the S&P index going all the way back to 1950 supports this. Over the past 71 years, the average returns in September total a negative of -1.5 percent," the fund platform writes.
