Nordnet clients in Norway sold equities for EUR 72m in September

Overall, users of fund platform Nordnet in Norway sold more equities than they bought in September.

Private investors using online fund broker Nordnet in Norway executed trades worth NOK 26.4bn (EUR 2.6bn) in September, with net sales of NOK 721m (EUR 72m), Nordnet reports in a press release.

"September has once again proved to be a tricky month for global equity markets. Historic data from the S&P index going all the way back to 1950 supports this. Over the past 71 years, the average returns in September total a negative of -1.5 percent," the fund platform writes.
