KLP Kapitalforvaltning promotes internal candidate to lead responsible investments

Kiran Aziz was previously a senior analyst at the department she will now be running. The promotion comes shortly after KLP revealed its net-zero strategy, which focuses on company engagement.

Norwegian KLP Kapitalforvaltning has promoted senior analyst Kiran Aziz to the role of head of responsible investments.

Aziz will be responsible for ensuring that the assets that the company invests in live up to its ethical guidelines. Aziz is taking over the role from Jeanett Bergan, who left KLP Kapitalforvaltning at the start of June. The asset management arm of Norway's largest pension firm has NOK 650bn (EUR 65bn) invested in around 7,200 different companies.
