Pension giant, asset managers to back Finland's second SPAC

A venture capital company is sponsoring the launch of Finland's second SPAC. Many domestic investment firms have subscribed for initial shares, including a pension giant and the country's new asset manager.

Finnish venture capital company Lifeline Ventures is sponsoring the launch of the country's second Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SPAC).

The cornerstone investors of Lifeline SPAC I Ltd, as the new SPAC is called, consist of a set of institutional investors including Mandatum Asset Management launched this spring as well as pensions company Varma.
