T. Rowe Price announces new head of Nordics

Jan Eggertsen will be stepping down as head of Northern Europe and the Middle East for US asset management giant T. Rowe Price from August 2022. A new head of the Nordic region is found internally and will take over with immediate effect.

T. Rowe Price has appointed Henrik Fahlåker to the role of head of Nordics. This appointment is been made in conjunction with the announcement of Jan Eggertsen's decision to retire in August 2022 as the head of Northern Europe and Middle East, the USD 1.62tn global asset manager writes in a statement.

Fahlaker has been head of Sweden since 2019, and will now extend his remit to assume responsibility for the Nordics region with immediate effect. He will continue to report to Eggertsen, who joined the firm back in August 2006 as head of the Nordic business.
