Danica votes for more diversity in resolutions for US-based companies

Diversity and inclusion proposals from an NGO have been adopted at several general assemblies. Danica, hoping for higher returns, is among 'yes' voters.

Several companies in which Danica owns shares must increase their diversity and inclusion efforts. This message comes after several shareholders, Danica included, have voted on proposals at shareholder meetings.

Resolutions to improve reporting on diversity and inclusion efforts have been adopted at the general assemblies of the financial company American Express and the railroad holding company Union Pacific Corporation. The proposals passed without the support of managements. Similar resolutions passed for the IT companies IBM and Paycom.
