Good times on the equity market lead to record ATP returns

Listed and unlisted equities boosted ATP's returns for the first half of 2021. A slowdown in the increase of life expectancies has freed up billions for bonuses.

The first half of 2021 has been a good period for ATP. The pension fund has realized a return before taxation and costs of DKK 29.6bn (EUR 4bn), or 17.9 percent of the bonus potential.

The biggest contributor to returns comes from listed and unlisted equity as well as inflation-related instruments. Government and mortgage bonds have generated negative returns.
