Ex-PKA boss calls for green unity ahead of Climate Investment Summit

The Climate Investment Coalition kicks off its 2021 summit tomorrow. Coalition chair and former PKA chief executive Peter Damgaard Jensen is raring to go and keen to talk to investors wanting to increase their green ambitions. "When you read the latest IPCC report, it is clear that by 2030 or 2040, it will be too late to start this transition," he says.

Over the next two days, Copenhagen is hosting the 2021 Climate Investment Summit where asset owners, investment managers, NGOs and government officials will discuss one of the world's most pressing issues: Accelerating investments in the green transition.

According to the chair of the coalition and former PKA CEO Peter Damgaard Jensen, just pledging carbon neutrality by 2050 doesn't cut it anymore.
