Oil fund exec leaves for US firm

Karsten Kallevig is swapping Norges Bank Investment Management for US real estate giant Prologis, which has previously collaborated with the Norwegian sovereign wealth fund.

On Oct 1., Karsten Kallevig will become managing director of Global Strategic Capital at Prologis, the company reports in a press release.

Kallevig has been central to building up Norges Bank Investment Management's (NBIM) real estate investments since 2010, and was CEO of the fund's real estate unit Norges Bank Real Estate Management until it was integrated into the rest of the organization. Last fall, Kallevig became the special advisor to oil fund CEO Nicolai Tangen.
