Sampension's value bet pays off in first half-year

Pension company Sampension uses a value strategy on the investment markets. This approach has sent returns rocketing this year - but was less good in 2020.

Danish pension company Sampension has reported a total investment return of 11.9 percent for the first half of 2021.

That is an improvement of over DKK 17bn (EUR 2.3bn) compared to the same period last year, where investments led to a DKK 5.5bn (EUR 740m) loss.
