Institutional Investor Forums is preparing to host its first pan-European pension symposium since before the pandemic. Executive Director Alex Beveridge hopes to welcome more than 100 of Europe's largest asset owners to Copenhagen, despite new Covid-19 infection rates clouding the horizon.

In what might feel like a distant past, in-person conferences, seminars and physical roundtables were a regular part of many investment professionals' schedules. That is - until the Covid-19 pandemic struck.

While the usage of virtual media has exploded, allowing the supply of content shared between managers and investors to soar, the off-the-record water cooler talks are missing, many sources have told AMWatch in the past 18 months.
