Aegon poaches Komulainen to lead ESG in the UK

Dutch pensions and asset management company Aegon hires Hilkka Komulainen to head up its UK subsidiary's newly-established responsible investment team.

Pensions and asset management company Aegon UK has appointed Hilkka Komulainen to the newly-created position of Head of Responsible Investment. Komulainen will work at Aegon's growing Investment Solutions team, which oversees assets totaling GBP 186bn (EUR 217bn).

We're delighted to welcome Hilkka to Aegon and the new role highlights our ambition to drive forward our responsible investment agenda and integrate ESG into decision making," says Tim Orton, Managing Director for Investment Solutions, in a statement.
