DWS is expanding its private debt platform

Manager has committed to a long-term project to launch more private debt funds to expand from the current focus on mandates in the area, Head of Nordics Thomas Lindahl tells AMWatch in an interview.

Discussing German asset manager DWS' growth in assets under management in the Nordics over the last three years, the firm's regional head Thomas Lindahl outlined what areas have been and will continue to be in focus.

Aside from thematic funds and the work to accommodate the ever-growing ESG trend, the asset manager also wants to grow in alternative assets. That's why a commitment has been made to further build a private debt platform, Lindahl tells AMWatch.
