EU to launch own Anti-Money Laundering Authority

The EU will establish its own Anti-Money Laundering Authority and merge existing guidelines in new regulation, German media outlets report.

A new draft regulation concerning money laundering will be presented at the EU on July 20, AMWatch's German sister media reports, citing business media Börsen Zeitung.

The media outlets report that the regulation involves the formation of a new Anti-Money Laundering Authority (AMLA).
