Alecta sets targets for path to net-zero

The Swedish occupational pension company, which is part of the Net-Zero alliance, has revealed more details about how it will reach this goal.

As a founding member of the Net-Zero Asset Owner Alliance (AOA), Alecta has committed to reducing its greenhouse gas emissions to net-zero, meaning all emissions must be offset by carbon removal and other methods.

The EUR 108bn (SEK 1100bn) pension provider has now revealed its interim targets for reaching this goal in its second climate report.
