Skandia first Swedish firm to join Danish climate initiative

The pension company is joining the initiative which PKA's former CEO Peter Damgaard Jensen had a central role in establishing in 2019.

Swedish pension and life insurance company Skandia is joining the Danish public-private initiative Climate Investment Coalition (CIC). In a statement released on Thursday, the company says it is the first Swedish firm to join the initiative, which was founded in 2019.

The commitment is in line with Skandia's plan to double its climate related and green investments by 2025. Its CEO, Frans Lindelöw, hopes the coalition will increase the tempo and focus towards investing in renewable energy and other climate related solutions.
