Nordic Capital raises billions and eyes up Danish acquisitions

Nordic Capital has raised over EUR 1.2bn (DKK 9bn), which will be invested in medium-sized Nordic businesses.

In direct competition with Denmark's largest private equity funds, Nordic Capital has raised over EUR 1.2 bn (DKK 9bn) for its new fund.

The private equity investor, which normally targets some of the biggest acquisition themes, has brought in over EUR 1.2bn from institutional investors that will be used to purchase medium-sized Nordic companies.
