East Capital appoints industry veteran as CEO

The new group CEO of East Capital Holding has previously worked at Enskilda Securities and Cheuvreux Credit Agricole as well as Handelsbanken Capital Markets & Asset Management.

East Capital Holding has appointed 30-year industry veteran Per Elcar as its new CEO. He assumes his new role on July 1 and will support the strategic growth journey of the company, according to a statement.

Elcar has acted as an advisor to the East Capital Group since January. His previous experience includes roles as Head of Equities at Enskilda Securities, Head of Nordic Sales at Cheuvreux Credit Agricole and Head of Handelsbanken Capital Markets & Asset Management.
