Swedish pensions lobby applies to join European umbrella organization

A pension company organization based in Sweden has applied to become part of Pensionseurope, which tries to influence EU legislation.

Svensk Försäkring, which protects the interests of Swedish insurance and pension companies, has applied to join the European umbrella organization, Pensionseurope, it writes on its website.

"I am looking forward to Svensk Försäkring becoming a constructive and strong member of Pensionseurope, as we are at Insurance Europe," says Christina Lindenius, CEO of Svensk Försäkring, on the website, adding:
