Varma seeds new sustainable bond funds by top-5 global manager

Finland's Varma is one of the seed investors in a new range of three sustainable corporate bond funds launched by State Street Global Advisors.

State Street Global Advisors (SSGA) is launching a set of three new sustainable corporate bond funds, where EUR 53bn pension company Varma is injecting EUR 230m as one of the first investors.

The State Street Sustainable Climate Bond Funds aim to facilitate investors' reduction of their exposure to carbon emissions and fossil fuel, while also re-allocating capital to fund the transition to a low-carbon future.
