Swiss manager finds Nordic expansion partner – starts out with Article 9 fund

A Swiss manager is entering the Nordic market through a partner, with a fund targeting the solar sector.

Swiss asset manager Active Niche Funds has entered into a "strategic partnership" with Swedish consultant Intervalor for its expansion in the Nordic market.

The Lausanne-based manager has a specific niche for investing in renewable energy and is kickstarting the Nordic partnership by marketing its Article 9 fund, global solar sector fund Active Solar, in the region, according to a company statement.
