Storebrand AM bets big on sustainable thematics with triple fund launch in sight

Norway's EUR 98.8bn multi-boutique manager is launching three new thematic funds in 2021, says CEO Jan Erik Saugestad, who raises the flag for long-term risks of continued deforestation.

Storebrand Asset Management is in the process of launching three new thematic funds, which will focus on smart cities, equal opportunities and the circular economy, says the company's CEO Jan Erik Saugestad.

The three new actively managed funds will belong to the same series as the Renewable Energy fund - Storebrand Fornybar Energi - that was launched in Norway in June 2020 and is now also available in Sweden.
