OP reviews funds for ESG compliance: "We will most likely fine-tune some of our products"

OP Asset Management's goal is that all of its 75 funds are categorized as at least taking sustainability into account. "In addition, we want a significant portion of our funds to be rated as compliant with articles 8 and 9 of the SFDR," says CEO Tuomas Virtala.

Finland's OP Asset Management is in the process of reviewing its funds for ESG compliance following fresh regulatory reforms, says CEO Tuomas Virtala.

"We are now focusing on sustainability in our product development, and will most likely fine-tune some of our products and check the ESG compliance of our portfolios. Our aim is to integrate sustainability throughout all of our operations," Virtala tells AMWatch.
