SEB's fund company increases operating profit by almost 50 percent

Assets under management have increased both year-on-year and compared to the last quarter but the fund manager reports negative net sales for the third quarter running. In relation to its quarterly report, SEB creates a new private wealth management division.

SEB notes in today's quarterly report that its fund management division SEB Investment Management increased its operating profit to SEK 565m (EUR 55.8m) during the first quarter.

Compared to the profit of SEK 380m (EUR 37.5m) achieved after the last quarter of 2020, it is an increase of 48 percent.
