OP Asset Management hits milestones in Q1: "We've had an extremely good quarter"

The Finnish asset manager is currently in a very profitable period, after a record high level of net fund subscriptions during the first quarter, CEO Tuomas Virtala tells AMWatch.

At Finland's second largest asset manager, OP Financial Group, assets under management reached EUR 93.53bn at the end of the first quarter of this year, up from EUR 89.1bn at the end of last year – an increase of 4.9 percent.

Approximately one third of the growth in business comes from net inflow to OP's mutual funds, which reached and asset volume of EUR 29.6bn at the end of the first quarter, up from EUR 27.6bn at the end of last year, says Tuomas Virtala, CEO of OP Asset Management, to AMWatch.
